Garri is “Granulated cassava or cassava granules” foodstuff made from the tuberous root of a cassava plant. Garri is versatile, consumed as a cereal or used to make eba, a popular Nigerian swallow. It is a good source of magnesium, copper, vitamin B, C and also highly rich in fibre. Garri is mostly consumed in the West Africa. a flour made from fresh, starchy cassava root.
Garri is also used to prepare Eba which can be eaten with okro soup, or any of our Combo Soup Dishes: egusi soup, ogbono, afang, efo-riro, edikang ikong, ofe n’sala etc. Garri could also go alongside with various of delicacies such as beans, moi moi and so much more. It could also be well mixed and taken with groundout, kuli kuli [peanut bars], cashew nut, snacks etc.
